Milton Lewis Wyre

Milton "Paw Paw" Lewis Wyre, age 75, entered into eternal rest on Monday February 17, 2014 at his residence. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Harvey, LA. Milton was a retired truck driver with National Canal Villere after more than 25 years of service. Beloved husband of Letha L. Wyre. Loving father of Dwayne Sanders, Archerella Wyre, Willie (Tracey) Quinn, Sr., Michael (Robin) Morgan, Jr., and Michele Morgan (Devin) Oten. Son of the late Lillie Mae Gordon and Leroy Wyre. Brother of Jerry Gordon of San Leandro, CA, Kenneth (Bernice) Gordon of Oakland, CA, Clinton (Wanda) Gordon of Fairfax, VA, Brenda (Keith) Burt of San Diego, CA, Jimmy (Debra) Dawan of Baton Rouge, LA, Mary (Reggie) Tate of Fairfax, VA, Barbara (Neil) Kufhner of Manhattan, NY, Theresa (Dr. John) Gibbs of Williamsville, NY, Antoinette (Walter) Meeks of Albuquerque, NM, and the late Lawrence Gordon and Norma Gillum. Son-in-law of the late Norma Quinn; also survived by 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
