James Bibbins, Jr., age 63, departed his earthly walk of life on Friday, February 21, 2014. He was a native of Woodville, MS and a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. James was a graduate of Wilkinson County Training School in Woodville, MS. and held two successful careers as a Steamfitter at Avondale Shipyard with Local Union #60 and as a Taxi Driver with White Fleet Cab Company in the Greater New Orleans area. Beloved husband of 42 years to Helen Harris Bibbins. Loving father of Aaron Keith (Kimberly) Bibbins of Beaumont, TX and Scott Anthony Bibbins of Washington, D. C. Grandfather of Paityn Alexander Bibbins. Son of the late James Bibbins, Sr. and Willie Black Bibbins. Grandson of the late Alfred and Hattie Black, Joseph and Lilly Bibbins. Brother of Ruby (Jimmie) Hampton of Baton Rouge, LA, Martha Lanus, Fannie White, Sidney Bibbins, Walter Bibbins all of New Orleans, LA , Nathaniel (Doris) Bibbins of Woodville, MS, and the late Frank, Ezral, Joseph, Charles, Lydia and Olevia Bibbins; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
