Florence Jones, a retired housekeeper, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 28, 2014 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved wife of Irvin Jones, Sr. Loving mother of Viola Jones, Lisa (Gregory)Thomas, Gwendolyn (Edwin) Lofton, Melissa (Willie) Bryant, Andrea (David) Hill, Patricia (Gregory) Jupiter, Lutrina (Kevin) Issac and the late Irvin Jones, Jr., Dwayne Jones and Terry Ann Colbert. Daughter of the late Alfred McKee, Sr. and Henrietta McKee. Sister of the late Gertrude Shellmire, Mary Louise Bell, Wilfred Mckee and Alfred Mckee, Jr. Sister-in-law of Mildred Williams, Ruby Laday, Gladys Mckee and Dorothy Young; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 72 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 12:30p.m. Rev.
