Ethel Lavern Jackson peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Loving mother of Ebony J. (Frank, Jr.) Stemley. Devoted grandmother of Frank, III and Ebon J. Stemley. Daughter of the late Vivian Daye. Granddaughter of the late Ethel Taylor. Sister of the late Theo "Big Knot" Williams, II. Sister-in-law of Lauranette Bolton. Aunt of Theo Moses (Qunity) Williams, III. Great aunt of Taylor M. Williams; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 67 years, a native and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Westbank United Seventh Day Adventist Church, Second Baptist Church, priest and parishioners of All Saints and Holy Name of Mary Catholic Churches and all neighboring churches; employees of McDonald's (Belle Chasse Hwy) and Canon Hospice are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Westbank United Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2401 Gen.
