Shelia Louise Gilmore

Shelia Louise Gilmore peacefully departed this life on Monday, March 24, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank at the age of 56. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved wife of the late Thurman Gilmore. Devoted mother of Kendra (Louis) Revader, Shalita Gilmore, Nicole Gilmore, Thurman Gilmore, Jr., Nicholas Gilmore and Rhinell Paynes. Daughter of Ida Mae Paynes and the late Jules Paynes, Sr. Sister of Rhinell Paynes, Jules Paynes, William Paynes, Tyron Paynes, Ivory Paynes, Alma Harris, Jean James, Carol Williams, Paulette Gray, Rebecca Hammond and the late Darlene Green; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
