Marla Shayne Jones departed this life at her residence on Monday, March 24, 2014. Mother of Markel Brenton Jones, Ro'shanea Jones, and Emile Payne Kirk, Jr. Daughter of Marlon P. Burras and Gail M. Jones. Granddaughter of Ruby Walker and the late Willie Thomas, Clarence Jones, Sr and Jannie Jones. Sister of Justin Jones, Devoe Jones, Micheal Green, Jacoby Green, Tiechia Jones, Keneshia Thornton, Britney Green, and Jean Jones Wright. Niece of the late Barbara Stuller. Cousin of the late Bryan Jones also survived by a host of other relatives and friends Age: 32 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Serenity Hospice are invited to attend the funeral service at New Hope Baptist Church 434 7th St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
