Alma Lewis

Alma "Toot" Lewis, a retired nurse departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Friday, April 18, 2014. Mother of Ezil Bibbs, Carolyn Johnson, and the late Lionel Andrews and Dwight Andrews. Daughter of the late Watson and Sedonia Lewis. Sister of the late Thelma Lewis, Joseph Ellis, Lloyd Lewis, and Mitchell Lewis, also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 85 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members Progressive Ministries and neighboring churches are invited attend the funeral service at Progressive Ministries 437 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Sterling Mealancon officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
