Clarice Wright Stewart, a retired secretary for Charity Hospital, departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Wife of the late Charles Freddie Stewart. Mother of Livia Nadine Floyd of Memphis, Tn., Roland Alexander (April) Jackson of New Orleans, La., Richard Earl ( Rene') Floyd of Perris, Ca., and Ronald Steven (Ann ) Floyd of San Diego, Ca. Grandmother of the late Brian Edgar Jackson. Daughter of the late Willie and Annette James Wright. Sister of Tyrone Wright and the late Clara Warden (her twin sister), Andrea Colberson, Janice Pryor, and Lela Wright. Niece of Clarence James of Chicago, Il., also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 71 years a native of Gulfport, Ms. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Boynton United Methodist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Boynton United Methodist Church 515 5th St. Gretna, La. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Curtis Roberson officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery-Biloxi, Ms. on Friday, May 2, 2014.
