Mesia Ganel Jourdan departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 8:15p.m.. Daughter of Lawrence Jourdan, Jr., and Carola Gougis Jourdan. Sister of Derrick Tabb, Gionne (Chome) McGinnis, Trenelle Jourdan,Davanya Tabb and the late Demetrius Ketchens . Granddaughter of Delores Jourdan and the late Lawrence "DaDa" Jourdan, Sr., Freddie "Jack" and Juanita "Biddy" Black Gougis, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 34 years a native of Gretna, La. and a resident of Metairie, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of White Dove Ministries, St. Cletus, Life Center Cathedral and neighboring churches are invited to attend the memorial service at White Dove Ministries 3600 Manhattan Blvd. Harvey, La. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until 11:00a.m. at the church.
