Sherrie Marshall Mosley, age 49, an employee of West Jefferson Medical Center, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her residence. She was a native of Natchez, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved wife of Jerome William Mosley. Devoted mother of Brittney Jershara Mosley. Stepmother of Ashley Weir. Caring grandmother of Tro'laiya Marshell Salvant and Troy Vincent Salvant, III. Daughter of Bennie Arbuthnot and Gladys Marshall Lampton. Stepdaughter of Charles Lampton. Sister of Demontry Nelson (Ivanneka) Lampton, Sr., and Denise Arbuthnot. Aunt of Demontry Nelson Lampton, Jr. Granddaughter of Ethel Arbuthnot and the late Ebb Arbuthnot and Flirzell and James Marshall of Woodville, MS. Daughter-in-law of thelate Bertney J. Williams and June Williams. Sister in law of Judy (Greg) Black, Donalisa (Wilson) Marshall, Denise Ford, John Mosley, Johnny (Terra) Mosley, Jr., Johnell (Doris) Mosley, and the late Edward Ford; also survived by 6 aunts, 6 uncles, and a host of cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center Patient Services, New Orleans Police Department, Royal Sonesta Hotel, Heart of Hospice, The Cancer Center at West Jefferson and Family Doctors Manhattan Clinic; Xavier Prep Class of 1983 are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Melvin C.
