Robert Reginald Girod, a truck driver departed this life in Indianapolis, In., on Saturday, April 26, 2014 @ 12:30p.m. Father of Margaret Gasper, Desiree (Wilbert) Luke, Danita (Brian) Williams, Mindy (Dameon) Perrier, Diane (Rev. Lawrence) St. Cyre, Sr., Mandela, Donell and Don Girod. Stepfather of Javid, Demond, and Tahirah James. Grandfather of the late Ramon Mejia, Ryan, and Ryan Williams, II. Great grandfather of the late Heaven Girod. Son of the late Wilton, Sr. and Ernestine Girod. Brother of Donald (Gloria), Richard (Melba), and the late Wilton, Jr., Lionel, Martin, Herbert and John Girod. Father in law of the late Brian Gasper. Brother in law of the late Irene Girod Verette, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 69 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Rev.
