Johnnie Neal Jr., a retired truck driver for Phillip Brothers Trucking Service, departed this life at Marrero Health Care Center on Friday, May 9, 2014. Husband of the late Shirley Mae Neal. Father of Barbara Gales and Bertha Mae (Linnis) Vallery. Adopted father of Carolyn and Alita Williams. Grandfather of Robert T. Neal, Sr. and Ava Williams. Son of the late Johnnie Neal, Sr. and Bertha Mae Neal. Brother of Charles (Dorothy) Neal, Saint Clair Seiber, Arthur Lee (Anna) Seiber, Helen and Florastein Seiber, Bertha Horton, and the late James and John Seiber, Albert Neal, and Julia Mae West . Godfather of Manuel Jackson and Percy Williams, also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 89 years a native of Woodville, Ms. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Moses Baptist Church, Second Salvation Baptist Church, 3rd Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1st. King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, and neighboring churches. Employees of Marrero Health Care Center, Bridge City Community are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 9:30a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
