Sherman Henry "Fluke" Flagg, Sr., a retiree of the United States Air Force, departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Tross Flagg. Father of Kenneth (Terry), Kelvin (Audreya) and Jacqueline Flagg, Karen (Jerry) Kelley and the late Sherman Flagg, Jr., Monica Flagg Riggins and Eugene Grisby. Grandfather of Jacquell Flagg (Andre) Randolph, Jeremy and David Riggins, Terre, Kenneka and Trey Flagg, Tyrian Hartman, Kelvin Bolds, Jerry, Jr. and Zaria Kelley. Great-grandfather of Jalon Flagg, Jayden, Andre and Damion Randolph, Taylor Mosley and Darnell Jordan. Son of the late Bishop Flagg and Jimmie Lee Tarver Flagg. Brother of Leal (Lear) Flagg, Loretta Flagg and the late William Flagg, Lee Jean Johnson, Dolores Beevers and Lillie Rose Smith Wright; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 82 years a native Clarksville, AR and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Louisiana DOTD and U.S. Army Central are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Hope Baptist Church, 434 Seventh St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Warren E.
