Delores C McGuffey

Delores "Dee" McGuffey, age 75, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Levine Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Charlotte, NC. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Huntersville, NC. Delores was a graduate of Delgado Community College and employed with the Orleans Parish Public School System. Loving wife of 25 years to Henry McGuffey. Devoted mother of Manya Marie McGuffey, Kimberly (Wayne) Dukes, Patricia (Lester) Bloom, Regina Michelle Scott, Donna Darlene Johnson, Travis Crandle and the late Sharon Glass. Stepmother of Henry McGuffey, Jr., Belinda McGuffey and Robert Drummer. Daughter of the Alfred and Lizzie Turner. Sister of the late Johnny Corner and Catherine Skinner. Sister-in-law of Lesther Smith, Annette Herisse and Willie Sherman; also survived by 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
