Willie John Mason, a laborer for Jefferson Parish Drainage Department, departed this life at West Jefferson Healthcare Center on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Former husband of Carol Davis. Father of Kevin Houston, Shaun Davis, Sandra Mason, Windy Mason, Amber Mason, and Dytaisha Jackson. Son of the late Daniel Mason, Sr. and Catherine Craft Mason. Brother of Charlie Mason, Rev. John H. Mason, Lionel Mason, Celestine Mason, Eunice Harris, and the late Emma Jean Spears, Clydie Mason, and Daniel Mason, Jr., also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 59 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Progressive Ministries, White Chapel Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Progressive Ministries 437 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 9:00a.m. Rev.
