Melanie Inez Guillory

Melanie Inez Guillory, a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish School System, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Loving mother of Cedric Sebastian (Sha'londa) Guillory and Qiana Monique (Kirk) Gabriel. Grandmother of Ciarra, Asia, Caleb, Ryaan, Corey, Jacqson and Cai. Daughter of the late Walter and Mary Guillory. Sister of Barbara McGrew, Antionette Guillory-Ellow, Bobby (Brenda) Guillory and Ted (Bobbie) Guillory; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends. Age: 66 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a lifelong resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Believer's Life Family Church and neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Public School System are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Believer's Life Family Church, 501 Lapalco Blvd. Gretna, LA on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Randy Cilluffo, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
