Cornelius "Connie" "CJ" Andrew Jones departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Grand Prairie, TX. Cornelius was employed as an IT Manager with Frontier Telecommunications. Loving father of Latasha Cola and Thomas Growe. Son of the late Clifton Jones, Sr. and Alberta B. Jones. Brother of Clifton (Gretchen) Jones, Jr., Michael Jones, Aubrey (Mercedes) Jones, Sr., and Joann Batiste. Nephew of Arthur J. (Alice) Batiste, Dorothy Verrett and Florence Hall; also survived by 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church, 1441 Teche St., New Orleans, LA on Friday, June 13, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
