Wilfred Porche, Sr. departed this life on Tuesday June 17, 2014. Son of the late Raymond and Florence Porche. Devoted husband of Joyce Williams Porche. Father of Ametria "Chris" of Kenner, LA, Wilfred (Lisa) of GA, LeRhon (Audrey) of New Orleans, LA and Nia of New Orleans, LA. Brother of Raymond (Clara), Roosevelt (Estelle), Alton, Gregory (Castine), Melvin, Carmel (the late Carver), Ruby, Thelma (Roosevelt), Patricia (Charlie), and the late Sylvia, Antoine, and Elenora. Special friend of Shelika Riley; also survived by 7 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 58 years, a native and resident of New Orleans, LA Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, Fischer Community Church, Second Zion Baptist Church, St. Stephen Baptist Church and priest and parishioners of St. Anthony Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Rouses Warehouse and Orleans Parish School Board are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
