Mary Ann Smith Fairley, age 72, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was a native of Petal, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA. She retired from Genuine Auto Parts (NAPA) after 32 years of service. Loving mother of Jacqueline "Denise" Mitchell of Texas, Patrice Countz of California and Reginald Fairley of Texas. Grandmother of Jessica and Evin Mitchell, DE Andre' and Aquanias Countz, Ryan and Jasmine Fairley. Great grandmother of Aniyas Heather Countz. Daughter of the late John and Eunice Smith. Sister of John Smith, Jr. of Petal, MS and the late EJ Smith. Former wife of Jesse Fairley. Aunt of Phyllis, Carlton, Ivan, Vanessa, Christy, Jonathan, Gregory, and Felecia. Mother in-law of Kevin Mitchell, Andre Countz and Jade Fairley. Sister-in-law of Martha, Verna, Rena, Margie, Alice, Kenneth, Bruce, Wendell and Buddy; also survived by an endless list of family and friends in Alabama, California, Florida, Missouri, Illinois, Mississippi and Pennsylvania. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of St. Joseph Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Joseph Baptist Church, 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 9:00a.m. Pastor Melvin C.
