Schwann Pritchett Mealancon

First Lady Schwann "Cookie" Mealancon, of Progressive Church in Marrero, LA, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 62. She was a native and resident of Harvey, LA. Loving wife of Pastor Sterling Mealancon. Devoted mother of Cheron G. (Hilton, Jr.) Roussell and Terrence R. (Marquita) Walters. Daughter of Ernestine R. Pritchett and the late Rev. Alex J. Pritchett. Sister of Theophilus, Orlando and Percival (Renita) Pritchett, Thais (Lionel) Walker, Fayette (Esaw) Frazier, Joannette (Tyrone) Jones and Linda Pritchett. Granddaughter of the late Rev. Samuel and Lilly F. Richard. Niece of the late Daisy B. Jones, Yvette R. Lawson, Doris Richard and Vernon Richard. Sister-in-law of the late Minnie Lee Pritchett; also survived by 6 grandchildren and a host brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Progressive Church, Greater Mt.
