Beloved wife of the late Elton Glenn Jefferson, Sr. Devoted mother of Elton Glenn Jefferson, Jr. Loving daughter of the late Annie Lou Mulmore-Harris and Clarence Davis. Stepdaughter of Betsy Davis. Sister of Cora Carter, Ida Mulmore-Baudy, Eula Brown Lynch, Marion (Lionel) Bouton, Gewayne Mumphrey, Trudy Jordan, Shelita Davis, Mercedes Harris, Lee Edward (Sharon) Harris, Jr., Terry R. (Vanessa) Harris, Sr. and the late Myra Davis, Ivy Decou, Curtis Royal and Arnold Harris. Adopted sister of Katherine (Henry) Bass. Devoted cousin of Kathleen Handy, Jennifer Handy-Bennett and Sherlin Handy-Watson. Godmother of Jackie Royal; also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
