Dorothy Mae Moran Johnson, age 79, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was native of Cutoff, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA for 52 years. Wife of the late Henry E. Johnson, Sr. Mother of Fleming Moran, Min. Henry E. (Myra) Johnson, Jr., Glenn (Patricia) Johnson, Edward Johnson, Janice J. Jasmin and the late Joyce J. Jacobs and Larry Johnson, Sr. Daughter of the late Chester and Pearl Moran. Sister of Edna Mae Jelphi, Chester Moran, Jr., and Junius (Sylvia) Moran. Sister-in-law of Alice (Roy) Walker and Sherry Lee (O'Neil) Tate. Godmother of Eddie J. Cross, V. Devoted friend of Ceola Mitchell and Loretta Woodfork; also survived by 29 grandchildren, 92 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Good Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at Good Hope Baptist Church, 2028 Weyer St. Gretna, LA on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Eddie Cross, III, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
