Rose Woods entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Wife of George Woods. Loving mother of Sherrill and Brandon Woods. Grandmother of Kameron Williams. Beloved daughter of the late Latimore and Eunice Nelson. Sister of Mary Dillon, Blanche Cooper, Eva Price, and Angela (Willie, Sr.) Tyner, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 61 years a native of Franklinton, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of United Vision, ASI Federal Credit Union, Tulane Medical Center, Payless Shoe Source, Advanced Personal Care, Trinity Neurological Center, Affordable Car Care, and Interim Home Health Services are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 1701 Estalote Ave. Harvey, La., on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Rickey Johnson officiating Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
