Betty Lovely Louis, a special service associate with Home Depot, peacefully entered into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the age of 51. She was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Loving wife of Greg Louis. Devoted mother of Dorian (Latasha) Lovely, Loren (Jacyntha) Lovely, Sr., Germaie (LaShanda) Louis, LaRon (Ariel) Louis, and Beatrice Louis. Stepmother of Brandi Louis. Daughter of the late Sam Lovely, Sr. and Beatrice Lovely. Sister of James, Kirk, Carlis, Darryl, Sr., and Sam Lovely, Jr., Shirley Jackson, Shelia Brinson, Deborah Ott, Gretchen Roseway and the late Calvin Rodrigue; also survived by 20 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Home Depot are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way, Marrero, LA on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
