Orelia Turner Harris

Orelia Turner Harris passed away peacefully at Woldenberg Rehab Center on Thursday August 7, 2014. Daughter of the late Percy Turner and Odeal Wright Kelson. Sister of the late Joseph Kelson, Sr. and Alphonse Turner Sr. Aunt of Youlanda Turner and Alphonse Turner, Jr. and Youlandphas Turner, Sr. Devoted friend of Janice Brown, Shirley Simmons, Audrey Dixon, Vinnie Wing, and the late Bertha Harang, also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 80 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of Walkertown in Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to celebrate the heavenly homegoing service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr. officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery Westwego, La.
