Charles (Big Red) Thomas went home to be with the God on Monday, August 18, 2014 at his residence. Devoted husband of Betty Williams Thomas. Stepfather of Jack Darren and the late Michael D. Thomas. Grandfather of Jamar Amos, Darraine and Mykah Thomas. Son of the late Wallace Foucher, Jr. and Elvira Thomas. Reared by the late Florida and Robert Emery, Sr. Brother of Wallace (Brenda), III, Aaron (Olivia), David (Diane), Mark (Trenice), and Shawn (Chantell) Foucher, Doris Thomas-Alvarez, Doreen Thomas, and the late Robert Emery, Jr., Eric, and Israel Thomas, Audrey Emery and Tanya Foucher-Jones. Brother in law of Irvin (Mary), Jonathan (Natalie) and Irvin Albert (Brenda) Williams, Jennifer (Earl) Long, Jeanne (Malcolm) Gandy, Catherine Emery and Lee Ann Thomas. Devoted uncle of Lana Parker, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years a native and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Olive Branch Baptist Church, Morning Star B.C., Second Highway B.C., Mt. Pilgrim 4th B.C., Greater Old Zion B.C., Second B.C., and priest and parishioners of St. John Bosco C.C. and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Olive Branch B.C. 1134 Branch Joseph (Odeon) Ave. New Orleans, La. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
