Wanda Jean Alexander, age 51, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Wanda was a native of New Orleans, LA. and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved mother of Darnell (Lisa) Alexander, Sade' (Brandon) Clark, Lionel J. Jr., Lyonesha B, and Kedrick D. Clark and the late Lionel Joseph Clark. Daughter of Arnishie Allean Dillion Alexander and the late Alfred Alexander Sr. Granddaughter of the late Vandee Dillion Sr., Selina Magee Dillion, Gertrude Williams and Joseph Butler Alexander. Sister of Alfred Jr. (Serina), Michael (Karen), David (Sharon) and Randy Alexander, Williesteen (Terrence) Burroughs, Lisa Alexander Hensley, and Arnell Alexander. Aunt of the late Dwayne Hudson. Niece of the late Ruby Smith, Earnestine Davis, Effie Thomas, Audrey Williams, Willie Alexander, Julius and Barely "B.L." Dillion. Sister in law of the late Troy Hensley, also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also, pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, New Zion Baptist Church, Regular Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches, employees of Jefferson Parish Water Department; Drainage Pump Station, Emergency Management, and Sewerage Department, McDonalds, Walkertown Tires, T.P. Used Tires, Hydril Company and Wal-Mart are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acres Rd. Marrero, LA. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00A.M. Rev.
