Ida Jenkins Green, a retired Dialysis Technician departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:25p.m. Beloved mother of Lavon Jenkins, Sr., David Green, and Erica Green. Stepmother of Lawrence Green, Jr. and Derrick Green. Grandmother of Laci Ellis, Murisha Ellis, Lavon Jenkins, II, Juwan Ellis, Kohl Green, Logan Green, and Asire Washington. Great grandmother of Shariya Jenkins. Daughter of Edward Turner and the late Luvenia Jenkins Foley. Sister of Raymond Foley, Melvin Foley, and Rickie Foley, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 62 years a native of Ferriday, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Mt. Calvary Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Mt. Calvary Church 1600 Westwood Dr. Marrero, La. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Elder Terry Gullage, Sr. officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
