Sandra M. Jones, a certified nurse assistant departed this life at Passages Hospice on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Wife of the late Ernest Jones, Jr. Mother of Lashonda Sergent-Harper, Riynell Jackson, Clarence Sergent, and Micheal Sergent. Daughter of the late Roy Sergent, Sr. and Elizabeth Banks. Sister of Tyrone Sergent, Roy Sergent, Jr., Deborah Spigner, Lynette Sergent, Donna Sparrow, and Leathea Banks, also survived by 3 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 56 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Home Ministries and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Home Ministries 1616 Carondelet St. New Orleans, La. on Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. at the above named church.
