Lee "Leodis" Maurice Nevil , age 37, departed this life on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Chicago, IL. Devoted and loving husband of Leigha Nevil. Father of Zahria Nevil, Lei'Aira Nevil, and Luke Nevil. Son of the late Phillip Webb and Sylvia Elaine Nevil. Beloved grandson of Coretha Nevil and the late Joseph Nevil, George and Marie Webb. Great grandson of the late Joseph Nevil, Sr., Ernest Taylor, Sr., Leodis Mitchell, Olivia Taylor Mitchell, and Sedonia Mitchell. Brother of Onekia Bell (Gregory) and Katrice Rand. Uncle of Rogel Moore, Asia Bell, Janiya Bell, Jayda Bell, Kyreed Jordon, Robert Bell, Gregory Bell and Jordin Chapman. Nephew of Joseph Nevil, III. Son in law of William and Elizabeth Chapman. Brother in law of Shana Chapman, Colin Chapman, and the late Artemis Rand. Godfather of Deshon Riley and Cerenity Johnson, also survived by a host of aunts , uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him but he will forever remain in our hearts. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Baptist, 2836 Sullen Place, New Orleans, LA on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
