Darren Morris Ogden, Sr., a retired Merchant Marine Officer, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Ochsner Hospital Kenner at the age of 49. He was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Houma, LA. Father of Dominique Cain, Darren Ogden, Damorris Ogden and India Cain. Son of the late Viola Massey and Willie Guy. Grandson of the late Olga Williams and Freddie Owens. Brother of Michael Guy, Viola, Daphine, and Sherell Massey and the late Hermet Ogden, and Willie Guy Massy, Sr. Uncle of the late Jocaquan Massey. Former husband of Rosie T. Ogden; also survived by 3 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m until service time at the above named church.
