Willie Beatrice Armstead

Willie "Bee" Beatrice Bell Armstead, age 92, peacefully fell asleep and was reward her wings by the angles on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Wynhoven Health Care Center. She was a native of Woodville, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late George Westley Armstead. Daughter of the late James "Jim" Bell and Ophelia Slang. Stepdaughter of Susie A. Bell. Sister of the late Lizzie Bell and Mary Ella Zeno. Aunt of George McClain, Sr. whom she raised from the age of 2 years; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Cornerstone Christian Center, Shiloh Baptist Church, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Cornerstone Christian Center, 6550 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Autry, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
