Larry Alex Hughes, Sr.

Larry Alex Hughes, a retired maintenance engineer, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Ochsner Medical Center at the age of 63. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of Keoka Jackson. Father of Larry A. Hughes, Jr. and Alex A. Hughes. Son of Doris G. Hughes and the late Alexander Hughes. Brother of Adrian, Dwayne, Randy and Nicole R. Hughes, Valrie H. Davis and the late Ronald C. Hughes. Grandson of the late Joseph P. Guss and Ruth Miller Guss, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Ochsner Medical Center staff. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church, Mt.
