Alfred L. Pierce, a retired cement truck driver, departed this life at JoEllen Smith Living Center on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Beloved husband of Delores L. Pierce. Loving father of Leonard Pierce, and Angela Christoff. Stepfather of Shiela and Sandra Nellon. Grandfather of the late Chiquita Kent. Son of the late Arthur and Pearlie B. Pierce. Brother of Deatha Harrison and the late Lawrence Franklin, Arthur Pierce, Edith Lewis, Deretha Johnson and Audrex Gracin; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 79 years, a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
