Sheryl Annette Harris

Sheryl "Nettie" Annette Harris, a registered nurse, peacefully entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the age of 53. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Sheryl was a graduate of William Carey College. Beloved mother of Tromane (Derricka) Harris. Loving grandmother of Tromane "TJ", and Haven Harris. Daughter of Lois Harris and the late Hilris Harry. Sister of Kenneth (Sandra) Harris and Wanda (Alvester) Hughes. Devoted aunt of Terial Harris and Kenneth Williams. Granddaughter of Joseph Paul, Sr. and the late Louise Paul, Leander Harry and Olivia Harry. Great granddaughter of the late Rachel Anderson. Goddaughter and great niece of the late Josephine and Daniel Harris. Devoted great niece of Nancy Anderson. Cousin of the late Camisha and Lum Davis, Jr.; also survived by a host aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Ochsner Medical Center Kenner (formerly Kenner Regional), West Jefferson Medical Center, Esperanza Charter School and Kelly Services are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J.
