Jeary Mackie Henderson, age 70, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014. Mrs. Henderson was a native of Slaughter, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Wife of the late Dan Henderson. Mother of Pamela, Paula, Evelyn, and Lisa Mackie. Stepmother of Darrell Felix. Daughter of the late Robert Mackie and Selena Bailey Mackie. Sister of Kenneth (Deadra) Mackie, Charlotte Mackie, Margene (Michael) Scott, and the late Louise Guy. Grandmother of the late James Lewis Mackie and Kiwanza Ariane Mackie. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:00am. Visitation from 8:30am until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Will be Private.
