Alonzo "Bud" Odoms Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the age of 45. Beloved husband of Tiffany Sylvester Odoms. Father of Alonzo III, Taja, Secdian, JaKobe', Amare', A'loni, Ashley, U'mekia, and Kevin Odoms, Ky'Juan Walker and the late Aaliyah and Alijah Odoms. Son of Alonzo Odoms Sr. and Rosie Odoms. Brother of Sandra, James and Myra Odoms. Son in-law of Walter (the late Candy) Sylvester Jr. and Betty (Troy) Sylvester. Preceded in death by one brother in-law; also survived by 5 sisters in-law, 10 brothers in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and neighboring churches; Ochsner Foundation Hospital CCU and Oncology are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10:00am. Pastor Gilbert Barnes Sr. officiating. Visitation at 8:00am until service time at the above named church.
