Oliver "Buddy" Glenn, Jr., a self employed cement finisher, departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:33p.m. Husband of Nancy Henry Glenn. Fatherof Aleria Zohy, Oliver J. Glenn, Jr., Valerie Smith, Sheila Foster, Gregory Glenn, Carol Myre, Sophia Doakes, Brenda Major and Brandon Glenn and the late Loria Leonard. Son of the late Mamie Glenn and Oliver Glenn, Sr. Brother of the late Joseph Glenn and Dorothy Anderson. Father-in-law of the late Theodore Leonard and Michael Myre, Sr.; also survived by 29 grandchildren, 48 great grand children, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 76 years, a native of Belle Chasse, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Nazarene Baptist Church, Second Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, Greater Mt. Calvary Church, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness and all neighboring churches; employees of Tulane Hospital, ACS Business Solutions, Don Bohn Toyota, Apple Transportation and Tomball ISD are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Nazarene Baptist Church, 3062 Boyd St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 9:00a.m. Pastor Peter Crawford, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
