Mishikea "Meme" Trochina Davis Brathwaite, age 35, entered into heavens pearly gates on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 5:38a.m. Mishikea was an honor graduate of West Jefferson High School and attended Loyola University in New Orleans and Columbia University in Chicago, IL where she studied Business and Theatre Arts. She worked in television production in Los Angeles, CA with renowned film producer Jerry Bruckheimer and had the opportunity to engage with several famous actors and actresses. When she returned to Louisiana, she worked with performing artists at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Loving and devoted mother of Nokomis and Rohan. Beloved daughter of Derrick Davis, Mahalia and Norris Brathwaite. Sister of Cyrille and Nialah Brathwaite. Granddaughter of Gloria Davis, and Elaine and Willie Cook; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Thompson Temple COGIC, New Light B. C., Mt. Zion B. C., St Paul B. C. and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office, Breaux Mart (Magazine St.), Jefferson Parish School Board, Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court and SMG (Mercedes Benz Superdome) are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ 1515 Whitney Ave Gretna, LA on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Elder Keith E.
