Rev. Clarence Joseph, Sr.

Rev. Clarence "C.J." Joseph, Sr., age 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 after a long illness. He was a native and resident New Orleans, LA and a product of the Orleans Parish Public School System. Loving father of Clarence Joseph, Jr., Nydra Joseph, Pamela Joseph Gallon, Nedra Joseph Green, Vincent Robinson, William Robinson, Latresta Robinson, Corey Washington, Shannon Davis and Sharma Allen. Beloved son of the late Marion Joseph Vincent and Ozzie Joseph, Sr. Brother of Ozzie Joseph, Jr., Glenard Joseph, Joyce Joseph, Ferdinand Meggs, Michael Meggs, Albertha Meggs Mayfield, Sadie Mae Meggs Brown and the late Elaine Joseph Young; also survived by 26 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Outreach Baptist Church, Second Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, Greater Faith Christian Church, Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Orleans Parish School System and Walgreens Pharmacy are invited to attend the Wake Service at Holy Trinity Christian Baptist Church, 1727 Erie St., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 7:00p.m. Pastor Patrick Leonard, host pastor, Rev. Erving Cooper of Greater Redemption Baptist Church, officiating. Funeral Service will be held at the above named church on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Ozzie Joseph, Jr. officiating. Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m. until service time at the church.
