Rosalie Pauline Davis

Rosalie "Rose" Pauline Torregano Davis entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Tulane Medical Center. She was employed for City of New Orleans for 11 years and LSU Health Sciences Center for 25 years. Beloved wife of Gerald Hughes Davis, Sr. Mother of Danyell George and Gerald Davis, Jr. Daughter of the late Edgar and Patricia (Temple) Torregano. Grandmother of Jase Horne. Sister of Anna Hunter. Niece of Shirley George, and the late Mary and Ernest Crump, and Rosalie Hayes. Sister in law of William and Albert Davis Sr., Ray Harris, Sr., Catherine Harris, and Joyce Gaines. Cousin of Rosemary, Ernest, Shirley, and Kim Crump, also survived by a host of other relatives, close friends and co-workers. She was raised by her grandmother the late Stella Temple and her aunt the late Mary Crump. Age: 54 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Salem Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service New Salem Baptist Church 1530 Alvar St. New Orleans, La. on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Rev.
