Evelina Allen, a retired CNA, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at JoEllen Smith Living Center. Mother of Carnell Allen, Glenn Allen, Cuttie Allen, and the late Reginald Allen. Daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" Allen and Evelina Cole. Sister of Florence Robertson and the late Virginia Mitchell, Millie Stewart, Velma Jones, Dorothy Mitchell, Delores Thompson, Joseph, Jr. and Herbert Allen, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 83 years a native of Gretna, La. and a resident of Terrytown, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Spiritual Church, Regular Baptist Church and neighboring churches; members of Eastern Star are invited to attend the home going service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, INC. 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA. on Saturday , November 8, 2014 at 10:00A.M.
