Joseph Carter, a retired truck driver departed this life at his residence on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Beloved husband of Brenda Diana Odom Carter. Father of Jasmine Odom and Brandan Odom. Son of the late Milton, Sr. and Alma Carter. Grandson of the late Joseph and Mary Carter Houston. Age: 71 years a native of St. James, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Brother of Alvin, Michael, Melvin, James, Willie, Edward, Geraldine, Joyce, Lynette, and Brenda and the late Willie Odom, Larry Carter, Lionel Carter, Gloria Dean, Janet, Gertrude, and Milton, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
