Cheramie Waits Louper

Cheramie "Cherry" Waits Louper, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at her residence. Cheramie was educated in New Orleans, LA. She was employed as a Patient Care Nurse at Ochsner Hospital until her health failed and caused her to retire. Wife of the late Martin Michael Louper, Sr. Mother of Keanna Jones, Martin Michael Louper, Jr., Brandon (Kaswana) Louper, and Jabbar (Monique) Louper. Daughter of Rev. Nelson H. Waits, Sr. and the late Margueritte Carr Waits. Sister of Karen S. Waits, Nelson Jr. (Gwen), Carl Sr. (Rosalyn), and Julian (Molly) Waits, and the late Rodney Charles Waits. Granddaughter of the late Florence Cage, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Age: 57 years a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Waggaman, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of International Tank Terminal, Threattrack Security, Logi Analytics, Inc., and Ochsner Main Campus are invited to attend the Homegoing service at Little Zion Baptist Church 433 Avondale Garden Road, Avondale, LA on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10AM.
