Bonnie Bell Burns Divinity, age 80, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at her home in Harvey, LA. Bonnie was a member of Mt. Sinai C.M.E. Church, Harvey, LA. She was an Entrepreneur and business partner of Divinity Trucking Service for 43 years with her beloved husband of 60 years Louis Willie Divinity, Sr. Loving mother of Louis W. Divinity, Jr. Bruce Divinity, Chris Divinity, Evonnie Odoms, Theresa Ware, Bernadette Peterson, Rosetta Burrell, Vicki Stewart, and Kim Ratcliff. Stepmother of James Flowers, Sr. Daughter of the late Percy Burns and Romielian Burns. Granddaughter of the late Rosie Burns. Sister of Eva Holmes and the late Leroy, Lorenzo, James, and Percy Burns, also survived by 31 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai C.M.E. Church, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.
