Gloria Williams Stevenson, age 66, peacefully departed life for her heavenly home on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Marrero Healthcare Center. Wife of the late Andrew Stevenson, Sr. Mother of Andrew Stevenson, Jr. Grandmother of Anthony, Andrew, Nakia, and the late Quentin Bishop and Jazymine Williams. Daughter of the late Selina and Joseph Williams, Sr. Sister of Mary Williams (Matthew) Miles, Joseph (Miami) Williams, Jr., Elvera Williams Felton, Daisy Williams Powell, Eveling Williams (Horace) Chess, and the late Almenia Williams, Matthew Williams, Madeline Williams Clement and Dorothy Williams Antoine. Godmother of Cynthia Miles Chess and Kirk Clement. Devoted friend of Albert Cooper. Mother in law of the late Shelita Stevenson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. A native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La.
