Sinclair Wright, Jr.

Sinclair "The Streetcar Man" Wright, Jr., age 70, departed this life on earth on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at St. Theresa Hospice Hospital. He was a native of Franklin, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Sinclair was employed as a security guard for 44 years at Touro Infirmary Hospital of New Orleans. His true love of art was expressed in his paintings of the wonderful culture and heritage of New Orleans. Beloved husband of Dionne Billy Wright. Loving father of Tyrus Wright, Sinclair Wright, III, Darren Wright, and Betty Wright. Stepfather of Teresha Ussin. Son of the late Betty and Sinclair Wright, Sr. Brother of Melvin (Glenda) Wright. Brother-in-law of Lerette (Clarence) Ross, Tamaler Billy, Melissa (Danny) Reese, Zelda (Lynwood) Billy, Karlette (Edwin) Billy, Darren (Melinda) Billy and Alvin Williams. Caring and devoted cousin of Percy Baulden. Close friend of Marshall Richardson; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and loving neighbors.
