Alice Smith Walker entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the age of 84. She was native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved wife of 63 years to Roy B. Walker, Sr. Loving mother of Roy (Carlita Faye) Walker, Jr., Larry Doak Walker, Bernadette (Johnny) Duplessis, Norris (Delores) Walker, Brian (Veronica) Walker, Sr., Wade (Brenda) Walker, Eric (Alice) Walker, Roxann (Perry) Cyprian, Jeffery Walker, Jennifer (Corey) Dubois, Willie Lee Miles and the late Sherman Ray (Mollie) Walker, and Elton (Janice) Walker, Sr. Daughter of the late Royal and Alice Smith. Sister of Sherry Lee (Neal) Tate and the late Henry Johnson, Willie Smith, Catherine Carpenter, Gloria Smith and Willamena Gibson. Niece of Ida May Payne; also survived by 52 grandchildren, 101 great grand children, 5 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
