Alma Andry Stewart, transitioned on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Devoted wife of Ernest Stewart, Jr. Mother of Betty S. Simmons, Marlene S. Birden, Nedra S. Jackson, Apostle Ronnie R. (Joyce) Stewart, Sr. and the late Jacquelyn Stewart and Linda S. Getridge. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Andry. Grandmother of the late Barry Birden. Sister of Rodney (Claire) Andry, Sr. and Audrey Richardson. Sister in law of William "Bill" Stewart. Devoted aunt of Troy Andry, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 91 years a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Jesus Christ Apostolic Lighthouse Ministires, Intl. and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Jesus Christ Apostolic Lighthouse Ministries, Intl. 505 Kepler St. Gretna, LA on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00AM.
