Mathilda C Campbell

Mathilda C. Campbell peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the age of 91. She was a native of Opelousas, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA. Beloved wife of the late Johnny A. Campbell, Sr. Loving mother of Diana (Donald) Ragas, Jamesetta (Leslie) Williams, Johnny (Shelia) Campbell and the late Donald Harris. Stepmother of Joe (Pat) Campbell and the late Larry Campbell. Grandmother of the late Katina Harris. Daughter of the late Frank Frances Castille and Theresa Sion Castille. Sister of the late Martine, Frank, Clarence, Martin, Rodney and Morris Castille. Mother-in-law of Ingrid Harris. Sister-in-law of Louise Campbell, Mary Castille, and Mary Webb; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Avondale Ingalls Shipyards and staff and students of St. Andrew the Apostle School are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church, 1441 Teche St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00a.m. Father Peter Weiss, SSJ officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
